Tech Trek is a week-long summer camp for rising eighth grade girls that exposes them to robotics, engineering, and other sciences. It is an AAUW California program, held on university campuses across California. AAUW Fallbrook sponsors several Fallbrook participants each year to attend the camp at UCSD, where they live in dorms and attend workshops during the day. As seventh graders, students are recommended by their teachers and then undergo a rigorous application process. AAUW members often serve as chaperones. Donations from members, scpouses, and the community make this event possible.
